Core Principles
Philosophy
Organizations do not fail because of missing information. They fail because the distance between available intelligence and the decisions actually made is too large, too slow, or too undocumented to close.
Decisions are the atomic unit
Every outcome — good or bad — is downstream of a decision someone made, often under incomplete information and time pressure. Most consulting fixes processes. We interrogate decisions.
Intelligence must close the gap
The distance between the information available to a team and the quality of the decisions they actually make is where performance is lost. Closing that gap is not a technology problem — it is a discipline problem.
Accountability is the mechanism
Decisions that go undocumented cannot be audited. Decisions that cannot be audited cannot be improved. SG builds the systems that create a traceable record from signal to decision to outcome.
Sector specificity matters
Generic advice fits no one well. Energy and manufacturing operators face regulatory regimes, workforce structures, and operational risk profiles that require engagements built around their reality — not adjusted from a generic template.
